The Marketing Operations Officer will own the operational efficiencies of the GTM team. This includes tactical, and operational solutions that drive optimal performance across the department.

JOB SPECIFICATION 

Core Functions:

The Marketing Operations Officer will own the operational efficiencies of the GTM team. This includes tactical, and operational solutions that drive optimal performance across the department. This role will work closely with the CGO, Senior Marketing Manager, the department leads as well as team leads across the business and external partners.

The Marketing Operations Officer will assist in ideating and authoring operational deliverables - from briefs to final presentations. He/she will identify and develop internal and external tools, processes, and documentation to improve operational effectiveness.  The Operations officer will also manage the GTM procurement process.

 

This role requires an individual with exceptional written and oral communication skills, a love of problem-solving, a proven track record of optimizing internal/external tools, and strong stakeholder management skills. They will be a self-starter who can work with ambiguity, while also being a team player who can collaborate regularly in our fast growing, and ever-evolving GTM team.  

Educational Requirements:

(a)       Specific Knowledge (however acquired) Required to Start:

  • Minimum five years of experience in project management, operations and production as it relates to systems, workflows, best practices and establishing and implementing processes, preferably in technology industry.
  • Ability to communicate business problems in a simple and data backed narrative format
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Expert in internal collaboration tools
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience communicating (verbal and written) effectively with both business and technical teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

(b)          Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing, or Business
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills are essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work independently yet function well within a team environment

 (c)          Required Skills and Specialized Techniques:

  • Impeccable organizational and time-management abilities
  • Strong presentation skills and comfortability presenting ideas to senior management
  • Extensive experience handling multiple demanding projects simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in, Zoom, Google Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar enterprise CRM
  • Finance/Accounting experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced and cross-functional organization - high-tech products/services/consulting preferred
