Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for the preparation of monthly Reports in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, generally accepted accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards for use in financial performance review and planning.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

1. Period end closing process and related reporting;
2. Various financial and cost analyses for driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the business;
3. Possess the ability to develop and in-depth understanding of the production environment;
4. Review annual accounts in accordance with IFRS & provide technical accounting IFRS/GAAP guidance;
5. Oversee compliance of international controls;
6. Review annual budgets, quarterly budget scenarios and monthly rolling forecasts;
7. Assist in Capital Expenditure projects including IRR calculations and budgets;
8. Assist in the implementation, communication, and interpretation of accounting and financial policies;
9. Knowledge of cost and management accounting principles;
10. Proactively prepare various cost information for Management for purpose of decision-making.
