Senior Developer/Analyst

The incumbent will also be required to demonstrate leadership and guidance in software development best practices, to the junior members of the team.

Contract Resource will be required to:

• Provide application development support for all maintenance changes to all enterprise live business applications, fault resolution and data requests servicing several lines of business including: Core Banking, Credit Card, Internet Banking, Treasury & Correspondent Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management.

• Perform ‘on-call’ support for operation of production systems during nightly processing and be responsible for resolving/providing solutions for production system issues in timely manner to ensure accurate
  processing.

• Conduct research and initiate changes to enhance applications so as to improve the overall health of the portfolio.

• Provide technical leadership for implementation of maintenance upgrades to the applications within the portfolio of responsibility.

• Design, document and develop business applications/ programs as per SDLC standards as well as to liaise with application vendors asnecessary for problem resolution.

•  Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions for the systems in assigned portfolio.

• Review quality of deliverables from support officers including code reviews

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information
  systems or related field

• Knowledge of Finance and Accounts, formal supervisory training and formal project management training are required

• Minimum four (4) years working experience in systems analysis and programming, with at least two (2) years at a supervisory level

• OCP- Oracle /SQL Developer Certified Professional

• MCPD-Microsoft Certified Professional Developer
