KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), provides office extension support services in the Jamaica Extended Support Services Operations (JESS) to KPMG in the US and is seeking to hire a suitably qualified, competent, highly motivated, Team Lead, Human Resources Compliance for the JESS HR Compliance team.

 

The JESS HR Compliance function is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements as well as with Client’s internal policies. The HR Compliance team monitors and tracks such compliance for the Client’s Partners & employees.  This includes, but is not limited to, tracking professional licenses (e.g. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), etc.), higher education (e.g. MBA, PHD) and professional certifications (e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP), etc.) Additional requirements include preparing and delivering reporting, analytics, and quality assurance, as well as documentation review and verification.

 

Profile

The JESS Team Lead, HR Compliance will be responsible for managing a team of up to eight resources, who will be performing various tasks within the Clients’ Human Resources Shared Services Compliance process area.  Specifically, this role will ensure that all team members adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP) and complete deliverables on time and within agreed upon quality metrics. Such processes include, but not limited to, reviewing Continuing Professional Education (CPE) documentation submitted by the Client’s employees to determine eligibility criteria, researching missing data, assigning CPE credits, and creating learning requests.

 

The Team Lead, HR Compliance should demonstrate leadership and team building skills to promote a cohesive and innovative environment and will report on operational achievements and issues to the KJESS HRSS Assistant Manager, as well as to the Client’s team members, who remain accountable for supported work. The Team Lead is expected to become proficient in the Client’s processes and perform them so as to stay current, meet expectations and support training of new team members.
