Salary Range: CI $55,596- CI $74,772

US $67,800-US $91,185

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator I (Windows) to join the Cayman Islands Government and become a vital member of a highly collaborative team “To make the lives of those we serve better”. The Systems Administrator I (Windows) will be a member of the Computer Services Departments Operations team and will be responsible for for defining, designing, installing, and maintaining various versions of Operating Systems, HPE/Dell, and other enterprise-level storage solutions, as well as supporting the CIG Network environment, and ensuring network and system security function as expected.

 

Qualifications: The post-holder should possess:

  1. An IT related Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three (3) years post-graduate IT system experience;

OR

  1. A more mature entrant with an industry-recognized relevant technical accreditation plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant IT experience in Enterprise Windows Administration.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: The post-holder must have detailed knowledge and experience along with information concepts and practice in  Windows Server, Active Directory Management, Exchange Server, Virtualization and Network Protocol (TCP/IP, UDP) environments. Manufacturer Certification in any of the above topics would be advantageous. Experience is also valued in:

 

 

Latest versions of Windows Server

Enterprise Web/content filtering solutions

Latest versions of Microsoft Exchange Server

Enterprise printing & facsimile solutions

Remote access solutions such as Citrix

Windows printer management

DHCP, DNS, Group Policy Management

Host and network-based intrusion Detection solutions

Enterprise Patch Management Solutions such as SCCM

Enterprise storage solutions

Enterprise email archiving solutions

ITIL 4
