Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Marketing team in the capacity of:

 Graphic Artist

Develop marketing and brand materials for all forms of media.

Support the Group Marketing department with strategies, the generating of ideas and content by providing recommendations and solutions with regard to graphical content and layout, while ensuring that brand standards are maintained.

Location: Kingston

As A Graphic Artist, you will:

• Develop marketing materials for all forms of media, including outdoor and brochures.
• Provide graphical support to all projects as needed.
• Work closely with Brand Managers in the creation of marketing concepts and ideas.
• Assist the Group Marketing team with brainstorming advertising strategies.
• Review and improve all client touch point materials to brand standards.
• Work closely with advertising agencies assigned to brand Sagicor.
• Manage and maintain graphic files including logos, photos and all creative art for Sagicor Group Jamaica and its subsidiaries.
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

What do you need?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Management, Marketing, or an equivalent qualification, from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Diploma in graphic design or related field, or an equivalent qualification, from a recognized institution would be an asset.
• Three (3) years’ working experience in graphic design, including general marketing, website design and updating.
• Experience in the financial services market would be an asset.
• Good working knowledge of Quark Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
• Knowledge of HTML, Adobe Flash and InDesign.
• Knowledge of Macintosh Operating Systems.
• Sound knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Good understanding of the printing process, including working with and creating artwork for digital printers and presses.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• High degree of creativity and innovation.
