HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST

Role & Responsibilities

The incumbent will support continuous development of human resource related activities and services to enable business success through efficiencies. This member of the team plays a significant role in the recruitment and selection process, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures, and employee engagement by:-

  • Proactively executing and managing recruitment activities
  • Implementing and executing reward and recognition programs geared towards a memorable employee experience
  • Support the maintenance of healthy employee relations to engender efficiency, motivation and productivity

Competencies

 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills
  • Highly confidential with the ability to handle sensitive situations with poise, tact and diplomacy
  • Team oriented with excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Keenly aware of the importance of balancing employee needs while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and applicable laws.

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Management Studies or equivalent
  • Proven experience in successfully executing simple projects
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
