Audit Senior
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with management plans and policies through examination of business processes and controls.
- Evaluate the efficacy of current controls to provide management with sound analysis and predictions of the achievement of the company's operational, financial reporting and compliance objectives.
- Execute the full cycle of the audit process from planning through to the review process and complete summary reports.
- Maintain accepted auditing standards for documentation of work performed.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with management and personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Perform any other related duties that may be assigned to you in an efficient and effective manner.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of auditing practices, techniques and principles, including being up to date on current activities, accounting and audit pronouncements and information significant to the profession.
- Excellent communication skills including report writing and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills with ability to identify and assess risk and exposures across a wide variety of processes.
- Goal oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must be a team player and collaborative partnering effectively to drive our culture and execute on our common goals.
- High levels of ethics, discipline and professionalism.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or a professional certification, preferably ACCA, CIA, CPA, CGA.
- Minimum 3 years auditing experience.
