DRIVER

The Driver will need to be patient and level headed to be able to deal directly with individuals of varying backgrounds and cope in a position that can in some ways become monotonous. S/He will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from destinations on a predefined route while meeting scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. He/she must also be careful and skilled with the ability to traverse heavy traffic and ensure the passengers arrive comfortably and safely. 

Specific Knowledge & Skills Required: 

• Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Have the ability to multi-task and work in a multi-cultural environment
• Have a pleasant personality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism
• Able to focus on details and ensure the safety of guests at all times 
• Able to maintain the vehicle and all its components in a pristine condition, at all times 
• Highly confidential, intelligent and well groomed
• Be flexible and able to adjust as the need arise

Qualifications and Experience: 

• High School/Secondary School Certificate
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role 
• Experience in the Hospitality/Tourism Industry is an asset
• Holder of a valid open general PPV driver’s license 
• Must be able to drive a Coach Bus 
• Transportation Authorization Badge is an asset 
• Team Jamaica Certified 
• Valid Police Record
