Core Functions
• Lead and organize key philanthropic activities that are facilitated through our branch network e.g. N.C.B. Foundation Adopted School Programme.
• Manage the Foundation volunteer corps. This includes relationship management, communication, project oversight and also evaluating and recognizing/promoting the work of the volunteer corps.
• Be responsible for drafting and ensuring the timely and relevant dissemination of information upon approval, related to these initiatives that relate to branches and the wider organisation - using various internal and external communication channels.
• Monitor, track and report on the outcomes of these initiatives.
• Manage budgets allocated to the initiatives under this portfolio.
• Lead on ensuring that content related to these initiatives are used for publicity advances.
• Devise and recommend initiatives that will improve the initiatives under this portfolio.
• Participate in initiatives and programs carried out by the NCB Foundation, ensuring adequate exposure of the NCB brand.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of the volunteer corps, to ensure that current information (contact, projects worked on etc) are held for volunteers to ensure efficiency and delivery of timely and proactive external communication to them.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Literature or Arts & General Studies.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the field of Business or in a similar capacity in a philanthropic organisation.
