Summary of the job:
The Clerical Assistant (HR Unit) performs a variety of transactional duties in support of the company’s human capital and employment initiatives. The primary duty of a human resources assistant is to collect and manage all data pertaining to employees, contractors, and tenants. He/she assists with the administration of the day-to-day human resources activities.
• Maintaining MAH’s Tenants’ files and updating contracts.
• Maintaining doctor’s files and tracking practicing privileges certification
• Assisting with the preparation of job letters, NHT letters, etc.
• Assisting with the ordering of stationery and other items for the unit
• Update internal databases with new hires’ data (e.g., contact details and bank accounts)
• Disseminate physical and digital correspondences
• Helping with employee relations issues
• Assist with the communication of information to employees
• Assisting with processing and logging all leave submissions
• Updating and filing all employee and company records
• Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system
• Assist in the planning and coordination of staff activities
• Prepare minutes for Senior Executive Meetings
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time by the Department Head/Senior HR Assistant

Education and Qualifications
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Business Admin or equivalent
• At Least 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of HR practices is an asset
• Basic knowledge of labour laws is an asset
