KPMG Caricom is seeking to hire highly motivated, qualified, sixth form school leavers who have a passion for Accounting, and a strong career interest in becoming Chartered Accountants to join our External Audit practice in Jamaica as Junior Assistant Accountants.

*NOTE: This position is NOT for University Students/Graduates or for persons who completed 6th Form prior to 2021*

Requirements

The successful candidates will have some or all of the following characteristics:

• RECENT 6th Form graduate or currently pursuing CAPE Level II at a prominent High School 
• 5 CAPE Units including Accounting and Communication Studies
• Minimum 5 CSEC subjects including Grade I or II in English Language and Mathematics
• Willingness to aggressively work towards the ACCA or CPA  qualification
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong interpersonal, report writing and communication skills
• Flexible and willing to travel
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to adapt to a multi-cultural experience
