ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Part Time Mobile Member Service Officer with our JN Bank – Eastern and Western Branches. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the achievement of sales, service and other operational banking targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide quality customer service and portray a positive image to members of the bank, through the speedy and accurate processing of their transactions as per prescribed limits established by the bank and the provision of up-to-date information
  • Identify and refer sales and diversion opportunities
  • Support our culture of “We will help you find a way” by consistently utilising the JN Preferred Way of Selling and carrying out the behaviors identified in our member charter and the various member services guidelines, procedures and training
  • Investigate transactions as required
  • Prepare Threshold reports in respect of withdrawals (and other transactions) in excess predetermined limit
  • Prepare Suspicious Transactions Report for submission to the Compliance Unit as required
  • Control and manage assigned cash by following the bank’s established security procedures and ensuring that assigned cash till is balanced daily and any differences located/reported within established deadlines
  • Adhere to all policies, legal and regulatory controls and procedures

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics or other relevant fields
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience within a financial institution
