The Argyle International Airport (AIA) Inc. is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager and invites applications from suitably qualified persons:

Background:

The recruited individual will join a team of young, qualified individuals and will be assigned responsibility jointly or otherwise for the company’s accounting and financial health and strategic direction.  

Function:            

The AIA Inc. is charged with the responsibility of managing St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ first international airport at Argyle.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for:

-Monthly and annual reporting of all required accounting and financial information.

-Budgeting and financial planning  

-Development and maintenance of standard internal controls throughout the Company

-Management of contracts and the efficient management of receivables and payables.

Purchasing, asset management and Inventory Control

Integration of IT and IS systems to ensure secure and efficient access to financial information

Compliance with International Accounting Standards and other legal and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in accounting

A professional accounting designation

A minimum of seven (7) – 10 years practicing as a senior managerial capacity

Extensive experience in business management and financial reporting

Remuneration: to be negotiated
