HR Analyst

We are looking for a high performing and dynamic HR Analyst to support the HR Director and leadership team with HR metrics, analytics and recommendations.   

This search is for the purposes of building a talent pool for this and similar roles and to meet a specific talent request from a Jamaican subsidiary in an international business with Caribbean operations.

The role is a fixed term contract for three (3) years.

The Role

The HR Analyst is an exciting role that is a key decision support to people leaders in the business.   The role holder needs to be committed and self-motived in carrying out the following responsibilities/deliverables:

  • Collect and analyze HR data, metrics, statistics and trends with a clear understanding of the business context.
  • Make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, attrition, performance management, total rewards, learning & development, disciplinary matters and other related matters.
  • Collect and analyze data for headcount budget, forecasts and actuals using the HRIS and other data/information systems sources.
  • Design and administer surveys including annual, temperature check, snap, monthly (exit interviews) to collect necessary data.
  • Partner with HR leadership team to create the appropriate reporting formats, using methodologies, ad hoc analysis as required to support strategy and analyze performance.
  • Source and produce actionable information to support overall people and performance management 
  • Support the design and maintain the HR dashboards - ensuring quality analyses and accurate data/information.
  • Tap into platforms (e.g. LinkedIn) that can be used to predict information and trends and Performance/Metrics and make recommendations.
  • Contribute to and lead assigned HR projects as they arise.
  • Conduct audits for access (HR controls) to Core Systems e.g. (ERP, HRIS) to ensure compliance and manage associated risks.

The Qualifications, Experience and Specialized Training:

  • BSc Human Resources Management of equivalent qualifications with specialization or training in Data Science (Analytics, Mining & Research).
  • A minimum of 4 Years' experience in HR analysis or total rewards.
  • Past experience working in consulting firm/team will be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Power BI, Advanced Excel, Azure or other similar platforms.
