Goddard Catering Group St Maarten N.V., a subsidiary of Goddard Enterprises Limited is a member of GCG Group’s network in twenty-one countries. We are seeking to recruit a resourceful individual to join our team as a Finance Officer.

MUST BE LEGALLY ABLE TO WORK IN ST MAARTEN.

 

The role will be to document accurate accounting data through consistent application of procedures/practices in accordance with internal and client standards and corporate policy and procedures, ensuring timely and accurate information is available.

Key Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepares relevant documentation and processes all invoices to customers on a weekly basis
  • Prepare and email customer statements by the 8th of each month
  • Entry of payroll journals for all pay class within 2 days after completion of payroll processing
  • Processing of inter-company journals and reconciliations by 6th of each month
  • Preparation of daily cash balance and weekly rolling cash flow budget
  • Preparation of month end audit schedules by 15th of each month
  • Ensures accurate documentation and management of the purchase, receipt and issue of stationery.
  • Ensures compliance with all internal and client requirements to ensure that all payments are made on a timely and efficient basis.
  • Handles all relevant queries from internal and external customers and ensures that departmental service standards are met and surpassed.

Academic Requirements & Experience:

  • A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a similar position.
  • A Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Management from an accredited institution or
  • Must be a member of a recognized professional body having completed at least Level 2 of the ACCA or an accounting designation.
  • Possess high numerical and analytical skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude and be willing to work on a flexible schedule.
  • Be deadline driven with excellent time management skills.
  • Must be competent with technology and proficient in the use of various computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
