Systems Administrator

Caribbean HR Solutions is the Caribbean's premier HR Outsourcing company specializing in Executive Search, Recruiting, HRO and Payroll services. On behalf of our esteemed client, we solicit candidates to apply for the role of Systems Administrator.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping to maintain operational functionality for our client's systems which will include assisting in helping to architect, as well as administer and manage both Linux and Microsoft technologies. While your primary role will be in Systems Administration, it is important to note that as a small family-owned company, we require an individual willing to learn other aspects of the business such as database administration, networking, and telephony. 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide support and maintenance of all computers, servers, network equipment, telephony equipment, and other devices in the organization
• Provide IT support to all departments 
• Assist in management of databases 
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues 
• Manage PBX System & VOIP services 

Desired Experience/Knowledge: 

• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience with Linux Red Hat, CentOS, or openSUSE. 
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare or ZenServer preferred) 
• Experience with Load Balancing 
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP 
• Linux Prompt/Bash Skills  
• Knowledge of Active Directory administration 

Helpful Experience/Knowledge: 

• Hardware Diagnostics 
• VPN Diagnostics 
• HAProxy 
• ModSecurity 
• VPN Diagnostics

• Networking (Firewall and VPN management)  
• Telephony/VOIP/PBX 
• Database Administration (MySQL)
