ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT – BANK RECONCILIATION & FOREIGN PAYABLE (CONTRACT)

The Accounting Assistant – Bank Reconciliation and Foreign Accounts Payable, will be responsible for the reconciliation of all company bank accounts and maintaining the Foreign Payable sub-ledger

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Bank Reconciliation & Foreign Accounts Payable

• Responsible for the reconciliation of all bank accounts, ensuring all transactions are accounted for, entered into the accounting system and corresponds to those on the respective bank statements.
• Enter cash payment vouchers, other receipts daily and reconcile credit card statements monthly.
• Prepare and submit Daily Bank Status.
• Submit all reconciled bank accounts to the Accountant monthly.
• Entering of all bank letters daily.
• Ensure supplier reconciliation are done before applying payments.
• Submit Foreign Payables Ageing and Control to the Accountant monthly.
• Report all discrepancies to the Accountant immediately.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• 5 O’ Levels including Principles of Accounts
• F.I.A certification or  Advanced Level Diploma
• Pursuing ACCA
• Proficiency in software application, including MS Office and MS Dynamics GP.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar post.
