Job Summary:

The Customs Clerk – Grade 1/11 will be required to process customs documentation inclusive of the Port and Governmental requirements for the company’s import and export operations in a timely manner.  The incumbent must also effectively manage all cost.

 Main Responsibilities:

• Effectively processes all documentation ensuring that customs, demurrage costs are kept to a minimum at all times.

• To track shipments and retrieve shipping documentations from various parties and ensure documentations are in accordance with the Customs & Excise requirements prior to shipment/s arrival

• Maintain all container/shipment updates/logs daily and real-time

• Required to clear and deliver cargo from all ports of entry

• Close all shipments and file all documents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess Customs Grade 1/11 License

• Proficient in the use of the Asycuda System

• Knowledge of Ace Customs Program

• Must have at least four (4)  years working experience in this field

• Working knowledge of Customs procedures and practices relative to processing Imports and Exports

• Versed on Customs Rules and Regulations

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Must be willing to work flexible hours.

• Must be able to function in a fast paced environment

• Must be the holder of a valid driver’s license
