Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Investment Client Services team in the capacity of:

Investment Associate

Process client’s requests received in branch.

 Support the designated Client Relationship and Wealth Advisors in the delivery of exceptional customer service.

 Ensure client requests and transactions are carried out in an efficient and courteous manner.

Location: Kingston

As an Investment Associate, you will:

• Act on instructions received from the Wealth Advisor and Client Relationship Officers for client transactions and monitor transactions through to proper completion.
• Open accounts using required systems in accordance with the company’s guidelines. Ensure full adherence to KYC onboarding requirements and compliance policies and procedures.
• Assist with generating and printing maturity reports daily and follow through with Wealth Advisors and Client Relationship Officers to ensure standing orders, coupon payments and withdrawal requests are processed in a timely manner.
• Monitor Settlement Accounts including SIMA and Sigma to ensure that no client transactions are outstanding.
• Post subscriptions and redemptions for Sigma Funds.
• Respond to customer queries and service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

What do you need?

• Diploma/Associate’s Degree in a related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position.
• Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications
• Sound understanding of financial sector instruments and the regulatory environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to understand and deal with customers’ individual needs and requirements.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• High level of enthusiasm.
