To perform, coordinate and supervise all inventory functions including but not limited to receiving and stockroom maintenance according to Company policy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for maintaining integrity and accuracy of inventory records using computerized systems by the effective management of damages, expiries and shrinkage.
Performing investigations and reconciliations of negative inventory and reporting to Inventory Supervisor.
Assisting Inventory Supervisor with Cycle Counts to ensure accurate reporting of data.
Assisting with the analysis and reconciliation of inventory variances.
Assisting with preparing location reports and directing the store inventory team.
Assisting with store replenishment activities and restocking of retail shelves.
Assisting with coordinating Direct Store and Transfer deliveries.
Assisting with receiving and returns procedures to ensure merchandise is not defective or broken, that invoices have been completed within 24 hours of receipt of merchandise and ensuring price and unit integrity of merchandise on sales floor.
Assisting with reducing Overstock and Obsolescence by means of transfer/vendor returns, discounting procedures.
Liaising with Vendors on a regular basis re: Purchase Return Orders, Out of Stock issues etc.
Facilitating transfers to / from dispensary stock.
Assisting in maintaining stockroom and receiving area in neat and organized manner to ensure easy and safe access to merchandise.
Providing delivery service reports, vendor fulfillment reports and any other relevant data to Store Management.
Assisting on the sales floor as required.
Performing any other duties as required by the Company.
WORKING HOURS
The position requires shift work. The suggested rosters are 8 hour shifts including 1-hour lunch between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. for any 5 days Sunday – Saturday.
Due to the nature of the job, the Employee may be required to work for other periods and hours as the Company shall determine.
The Company shall give the Employee reasonable notice where the Employee is expected to work beyond his usual working hours.
Education/Training/Experience:
Five (5) O’ level passes including Mathematics and English
Exceptional Computer Literacy Skills
Qualifications in Warehousing or Stock room operations,1-year relevant experience in a similar position
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (LS Retail) and QS1
Understanding of the principles of inventory and warehousing
