Jamaica’s leading Manufacturing and Distribution company seeks to hire an Inventory Coordinator, with responsibility for overseeing and maintaining the company’s inventories at assigned Warehouse locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update system with transfers between warehouses accurately and promptly (within 24hrs) and provide an account for all transfer document numbers
  • Investigate and report on differences or delays with transfers (No errors resulting from transfers)
  • Create new finished goods items by ensuring all relevant fields are completed and items created on all systems i.e. MAPICS, High Jump, ERMS, P8 and P7
  • Prepare and present weekly inventory report to the Inventory Supervisor, detailing problems encountered, action(s) taken, person responsible for non-compliance, results of stock counts done by the warehouse team, etc.
  • Check for raw materials that did not backflush on Manufacturing Orders (MOs) for Commissary and do respective adjustment
  • Reconcile the Goods Received Not In Transit (GRNI) account and ensure balance agrees with the Goods In Transit a/c 3720, as well as with logistics records

JOB SPECIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, ACCA Level I or equivalent qualification; with a minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar environment
  • Effective communication skills – both in written and verbal formats including the preparation of reports and presentations and the ability to communicate with varying staff levels
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization and time management skills
  • People-oriented and results driven with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous, with the ability to function well individually and on a team within a demanding work environment
