The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the company's fresh, frozen and dry inventory by accurately monitoring inventory movements and updating the company’s Inventory Management System, to ensure that the company maintains stock levels and optimizes their supply chain.

Job Duties:

  1. All containers must be offloaded within 5 days of arrival at the compound (assuming there are no issues). Offloading comprises of the following:

                           i.          Confirmation of goods received versus packing lists within 2 days.

                         ii.          Sorting of goods and mapping to appropriate location within 3 days.

                       iii.          Entering Purchase Orders and expiry dates into Access within 4 days.

                       iv.          Entering Purchase Orders into Retail Edge within 4 days.

                         v.          Distribution of goods to Retail Stores within 5 days.

                       vi.          Replenishment of goods at Head Office within 5 days.

  1. Establishment of minimum and maximum stock levels for all products.
  2. Execution of Transfer Orders from Lot 19 to Head Office.
  3. Weekly report to be sent to Management every Thursday with all expired/damaged/returned items.
  4. Daily input into Retail Edge all freezer movement sheets
  5. Weekly report to be sent to Management every Wednesday of spot checks conducted on dry and frozen items, identifying physical count versus Retail Edge quantities and reasons for discrepancies.
  6. Stock counts as necessary at Lots 12/13/19 and Retail Stores, preparing variance analysis on stock counted and point of sales inventory and balancing Retail Edge figures to physical count.
  7. Ad Hoc pest control services are booked and carried out as necessary.
  8. Assist with checking off frozen goods to dispatch drivers when necessary.
  9. Training of personnel as required.

 Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Inventory Management Systems
  • A degree would be preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in inventory/warehouse management
  • Ability to work in cold environments including freezing conditions.
  • Ability to assist with physical activities requiring lifting and bending.
  • Heavy-T license would be an asset.
  • A valid Police Certificate of Good Character

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Computer literate
  • Detail oriented
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
