The Inventory Controller oversees the accurate dispatching of orders to customers and the systematic validation and processing of stock inventory returned from customers.

Key Duties

  • Oversee the delivery of outbound inventory to fulfill customer orders by:
    • Validating inventory items picked and stage for delivery against pick tickets
    • Appropriately seal orders and stage them for delivery.
  • Develops and implements procedures for ensuring that adequate inventory levels are present.
  • Audits the Division’s inventory on a regular basis and provides reports to management.
  • Coordinate cycle count process in all inventory areas and provide scheduled reporting of inventory data provide ad hoc reporting of inventory data as required.
  • Reviews and prepares inventory control documents.
  • Develop, measure, and drive inventory control methods that ensure inventory turns, FIFO, and inventory accuracy.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software and forecasting techniques
  • Or at least five (5) years experience in a senior warehousing and inventory position with formal training in warehouse operations/management.

Practical experience in Total Quality Management techniques in Warehousing Operations
