We are seeking an Inventory Control Officer to join a fast-paced operations environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and analytical, with strong skills in accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in managing inventory.

Role Overview
The Inventory Control Officer will be responsible for developing and monitoring a robust inventory control system that ensures the reliability and integrity of inventory data. This position plays a key role in cost control, operational efficiency, and supporting overall business performance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the inventory function to deliver consistently high service levels and support seamless daily operations.

  • Develop and oversee inventory management systems designed to control costs, reduce waste, and improve efficiency within budgetary limits.

  • Review, update, and document physical inventory processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies and industry best practices.

  • Prepare detailed monthly reports with analysis, highlighting trends, identifying potential risks, and recommending solutions for improvement.

  • Track, monitor, and replenish spare parts, supplies, and equipment in a timely manner to prevent shortages and operational disruptions.

  • Maintain compliance with company-wide safety and security standards, reporting breaches and contributing to a culture of operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate in Accounting and Inventory Management System or Certification from an approved institution along with CXC/GCE passes in Accounts, English, and Mathematics.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in inventory management, purchasing, or handling of supplies, equipment, or tools.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
