Inventory Associate

The Role

The Inventory Associate supports the Transport Department by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of parts, supplies and fuel. Reporting to the Inventory Team Lead, the Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, completing daily tasks efficiently during assigned 12-hour shifts, and adhering to safety and operational protocols.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory items according to company procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and distribute parts and supplies to maintenance staff as requested.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
  • Receive bulk fuel according to company procedure
  • Dispense fuel to company vehicles ensuring transactions are properly recorded both manually and via the fuel card system.
  • Record inventory transactions in the inventory management system promptly and accurately.
  • Complete and maintain logs for inventory received, issued, or adjusted.
  • Report stock shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies to the Inventory Team Lead.
  • Ensure critical supplies are available to support the maintenance team and prevent operational delays.
  • Respond to urgent requests for parts or supplies efficiently, especially during high-demand periods.
  • Keep the inventory area organized, clean, and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members across shifts to ensure seamless inventory operations.
  • Ensure shift handover report is done to provide updates on stock levels, pending tasks, or issues.
  • Support teammates in meeting departmental goals and completing shared responsibilities.
  • Perform other related duties consistent with the category, nature, function and objective of the job.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 1-year experience in inventory or warehouse operations, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry
