Massy Wood is currently recruiting for an Inventory Analyst with experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

Overview / Responsibilites

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing stock levels and replenishments in order to provide a service that minimizes the dollar value of stored inventory and provide on time all materials required to keep the facilities running.

  • Plan, coordinate and organize the tasks necessary to fulfill the inventory management requirements specified by Massy Wood and its Clients.
  • Lead cycle counting activities at MWG Warehouse/s and third-party vendor managed inventory (VMI) locations where applicable.
  • Coordinate the movement of inventory between vendor managed inventory locations and the main warehouse.
  • Work with the wider inventory management team to achieve agreed to KPI’s for inventory management.
  • Responsible for managing the entire stock inventory information in Maximo to ensure the integrity of the data.
  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels.
  • Manage the stock replenishment requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist as required with the preservation strategy for those items stored in stock.
  • Promote, follow, update, and develop procedures to maintain the highest safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in our warehouse operations.
  • Promote Massy Wood’s corporate values (Safety, People, Quality, Ethics, Passion) to achieve excellence.
  • Assure all operations are executed in a safe manner.
  • Establish win-win relationships with our internal customers.
  • Promote general order and cleanness of warehouse and optimize the use of available resources.
  • Develop weekly and monthly reports on task execution and performance.
  • Perform all other related job functions as required.
  • Maximo CAT ID’s development and maintenance
  • Maintenance of the equipment asset preventative schedule
  • Verify & validate if equipment/assets exists internally prior to purchase.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Diploma in CIPS or Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Business Administration or Management with an emphasis on Supply Chain and Operations Management.
  • Technical Diploma/Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Industrial.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in warehouse management preferably in the oil and gas or energy industries.
  • Must be competent in the Workflows and the Life Cycle of Materials in the ERP System.
  • Must be able to read and understand written procedures, shipping documents, safety manuals, and safety warning signs.
  • Advanced knowledge in Hazardous Material Management and spill containment mitigation tasks.
  • Advanced knowledge in Warehousing Management.
  • Experience in performing physical inventory counts.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of the Inventory Management Module in Maximo.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and prioritize in a high-performance, fast-paced work environment.
  • Customer Service oriented.
