POSITION SUMMARY: Logistics and Supply Chain Management

The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Intern will work closely with the logistics and supply chain team to support daily operations, optimize processes, and ensure efficient movement of goods and materials. This internship offers hands-on experience in inventory management, procurement, transportation coordination, and supply chain analytics. 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist in tracking shipments, updating delivery schedules, and communicating with vendors and carriers to ensure timely arrivals.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and preparing inventory reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze supply chain data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
  • Help coordinate procurement activities, including preparing purchase orders and verifying order fulfillment.
  • Participate in logistics optimization projects, such as route planning and warehouse layout enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions in relevant management systems.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, findings, and recommendations to supervisors and stakeholders.
