Intellectual Property (IP) Administrative Officer

Overview

The Intellectual Property (IP) Administrative Officer provides administrative support to ensure effective global intellectual property management and brand protection. This role supports the IP function by maintaining accurate records, assisting with enforcement activities, and coordinating communications with internal teams and external service providers.

Administrative & Operational Support Responsibilities Summary

  • Manage and update corporate and IP records (physical and electronic).
  • Prepare reports of findings and maintain compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with external service providers and assist in enforcement actions.
  • Required to undertake reasonable ancillary or incidental tasks that support the effective operation of the business.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills.

Competencies Required

  • Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive IP data.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Team-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrates a proactive, can‑do attitude.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in administration, legal operations or compliance is a requirement.
  • Experience working with trademark databases, IP management systems, or legal document management tools is an asset.
