On behalf of our client located in Bermuda, we are seeking a candidate willing to relocate for the following opportunity.

This is a key role within the organisation, and the post-holder will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site reviews, supervisory assessments, and analysis of business models using risk-based methodologies
  • Identify and report on risk issues, and support the development of corrective action plans
  • Prepare agendas, participate in prudential meetings with regulated entities, and record decisions and outcomes
  • Contribute to departmental projects and regulatory initiatives as assigned
  • Monitor trends in the insurance and financial markets, including developments in regulation, accounting standards, and market performance
  • Track and follow up with high-risk registrants to address compliance concerns
  • Review applications and submissions in line with legislative requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, actuarial science, or accounting (or equivalent professional qualification)
  • Must posses an Accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA) or a Risk & Compliance qualification (ACAM or other)
  • At least five (5) years’ relevant experience in insurance audit or accounting
