In this role for the Independence and General Engagement Matters (IGEM) team, you will manage and coordinate the intake and resolution of independence/RM-Audit related inquiries across systems such as Inquiry Xpress, RM Audit, and CORE.

We’re looking for a detail‑driven Inquiry Intake Coordinator to help power our Independence and General Engagement Matters (IGEM) team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for compliance‑related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution, exceptional stakeholder experience, and strong operational discipline across multiple inquiry platforms.

What you’ll do:

  • Own inquiry intake and resolution workflows: Assign, track, and progress inquiries to closure; monitor aged items and drive proactive follow‑ups to meet service levels.
  • Enable governance cadence: Prepare agendas, capture decisions, document action items, and support weekly team calls with accurate notes and follow‑through.
  • Support leaders and stakeholders: Coordinate meetings for COE leaders; collaborate with Directors to close inquiries and remove operational roadblocks.
  • Advance Knowledge Management (KM): Organize guidance and operational content in formats optimized for generative AI; maintain Independence and RM‑Audit guidance and implement automation that streamlines repetitive tasks.
  • Strengthen quality & compliance: Perform contingent fee reviews; assist with SoQC administration and testing; oversee guidance‑related project management, including intake reviews, tracker updates, timeline management, and SharePoint folder creation with complete documentation.

Must‑have skills & experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in risk management with demonstrated exposure to compliance, research, and corporate governance.
  • Communication & judgement: Strong verbal/written communication, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and sound independent judgement; you thrive in a customer‑service‑driven and team‑oriented environment.
  • Ways of working: Able to work independently and collaboratively; excellent organization and time management with consistent on‑time delivery.
  • Accuracy: Meticulous attention to detail in tracking inquiries and maintaining documentation.
  • Knowledge management & tech enablement: Comfortable supporting KM strategies and leveraging technology to improve processes.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; experience with SharePoint and knowledge‑management tools is a plus.

Special Conditions:

  • JESS uses a hybrid work model, allowing staff to work from home in Jamaica or in the office. Employees must be in the office at least five days per month, with more days possible if required by business needs.
  • You are expected to use KPMG-approved Generative AI tools to support your daily work tasks.
  • Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
  • May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
