The position is responsible for the daily operation of the IT Department and provides support to user departments to ensure hardware, software, network and all IT needs are met.

The position is responsible for the daily operation of the IT Department and provides support to user departments to ensure hardware, software, network and all IT needs are met.

 

 

Main Responsibilities include:

 

Supervision

  • Responsible for the daily operations of the Information Technology Department.
  • Coordination of local support technicians.

 

Maintenance of hardware

  • Conduct review of existing hardware to ensure its suitability and compatibility with software.

 

Network

  • Ensure that the Network communication is secure and efficient.
  • Continuous Review of network services with Telcom Specialist and network support vendor via weekly and monthly meetings and follow up on KPIs.
  • Serve as the local point of contact for Network Services.

 

Service Delivery

  • Continuous review of IT services with the business to ensure alignment and value creation.
  • Evaluation of IT service requests through service desk and guide local support teams.
  • Regular scheduled visits to plant areas and other offices located in the country.
  • Project support.
  • Review and management of expenses.

 

 

Required Education / Expertise / Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Management, Information Technology or any related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience in supervisory roles
  • Good customer service skills
  • Scheduling and organizational skills
  • Management of budget and expenses
  • Schedule flexibility

 

 

Required Experience:

 

  • Minimum experience of 2-3 years in IT service delivery and coordination.
