Scope

We are seeking an Information Technology Officer to monitor the company’s network resources, provide support to users and any other activity which supports the overall objective of the Information Technology Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the acquisition, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure, software, and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Ensure users are provided with adequate IT resources to perform their duties efficiently.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues, and diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults.
• Assist with managing the organization’s Close User Group (CUG).
• Provide user training and technical support.
• Support the rollout of new applications.
• Set up new user accounts and profiles, and address password-related issues.
• Administer and monitor system backups and restoration processes.
• Monitor and maintain system security, ensuring all computers and equipment have up-to-date software and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR).
• Maintain an updated schedule of the organization’s IT assets.
• Conduct research and make recommendations to improve the efficiency of current resources or for the acquisition of new resources.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in System Administration and/or network administration.

• Proven technical skills in the areas of personal computers and other electronic devices; networking, mobile products and functional applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Products (including but not limited to: Windows Operating Systems, MS Office Applications, Email Applications, etc.) and other computer-based systems.
• Ability to develop project plans, timelines, and priorities critical to achieve objectives consistently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
