To lead, plan, and manage the operations of the Information Technology (IT) Department to ensure the effective, secure, and efficient use of technology across the organization.
Key Accountabilities:
· Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with overall organizational objectives and operational priorities.
· Provide strategic guidance on the use of technology to improve business efficiency, data security, productivity, and data-driven decision-making.
· Plan and oversee the implementation of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
· Oversee the maintenance, operation, and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to ensure continuous, reliable service delivery.
· Manage system performance, data integrity, and backup/recovery processes to safeguard business continuity.
· Establish and maintain IT policies and procedures consistent with best practices and regulatory requirements.
· Ensure the organization’s technology assets are managed cost-effectively and optimized for performance and scalability.
· Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of cybersecurity frameworks to protect the organization’s digital assets and data.
· Monitor and manage IT-related risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and governance standards.
· Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and awareness programs to promote a culture of information security.
· Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners to ensure quality service and value for money.
· Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure technology initiatives effectively support business operations and strategy.
· Manage and provide guidance and direction to the IT team to ensure efficient operations and achievement of departmental goals.
· Define and monitor departmental goals, KPIs, and service standards to measure and enhance IT performance.
· Foster a collaborative and customer-focused culture within the IT Department.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
AND
A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Preferred:
Master’s Degree
