Information Systems & Digital Platforms Officer

The role ensures the integrity, availability, security, and effectiveness of web-based systems, internal information systems, and related policies, while supporting internal audits, risk management, and compliance initiatives across the organization.

Main Functions/Responsibilities:

Information Systems & Internal Controls

• Support the conduct of internal audits and compliance reviews related to the Quality Management System.
• Assist with the review, development, documentation, and implementation of policies, procedures, work instructions, and system processes.
• Prepare, update, and maintain system documentation, manuals, and user guides.
• Provide knowledge transfer and user training on applications, information systems, and web platforms.
• Maintain, protect, and preserve organizational information in accordance with approved standards and policies.
• Provide departmental administrative support as required.

Web Administration & Digital Platforms

• Take overall responsibility for the content, functionality, security, and performance of the Company’s websites including ASSLSTORE, Marketplace and corporate intranet.
• Develop and maintain the technical architecture of websites, including scripting, logical and physical database design, and user interface design.
• Administer internet and intranet infrastructure, including web servers, FTP, and related services.
• Monitor web server performance, availability, usage statistics, and security threats; report and address breaches or incidents.
• Review, update, and publish website and intranet content in a timely and accurate manner.
• Implement and manage search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
• Plan and execute website upgrades, enhancements, and version releases in consultation with the Chief Information Research and Compliance Officer.
• Conduct user testing and usability reviews to improve effectiveness and user experience.
• Track, compile, and analyze website usage data and prepare reports.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
