The Inbound Inventory Supervisor oversees the accurate receiving and systematic storing of raw materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and coordinate activities and resources to ensure the accurate receiving and systemized storage of raw materials
  • Secure and store raw materials to prevent damages
  • Design, develop and implement flexible solutions to aid business efficiency, drive process improvements and add value
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for the warehousing process
  • Take ownership of warehouse related issues that arise and take any follow up actions required
  • Investigate and implement system enhancement initiatives
  • Ensure strategic and operational information, reports and metrics are available to share with others in the business as and when required
  • Defines opportunities for efficiencies with equipment utilization, planning, personnel and implement improvements effectively to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Establish, review, communicate and implement initiatives to positively influence metrics for all areas in production
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and facilitate reliable and on-time delivery of products 
  • Manage and direct team through sound personnel practices 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • An Undergraduate Degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant discipline.
  • Two (2) or more years’ related experience
  • Knowledge of warehousing and stock control methods and procedures
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, equipment and terminology.
  • Space utilization and inventory techniques
  • Valid certificate in operating forklifts would be an asset
  • Proven people management abilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality systems, standards and process improvement techniques
