IT Technician

Ensure the proper and correct usage of the system by users of the different programs in the Club and Central Office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of   the network programs.
• Perform all activities that support the information in the system.
• Provide first-line technical support to staff onsite.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network issues.
• Respond to IT service requests in a timely manner.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel when required.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Set up and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on computer systems.
• Replace faulty components and ensure equipment is fully operational.
• Install and update operating systems and applications.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights.
• Support business systems and enterprise applications.
• Perform system backups and assist with data recovery when necessary.
• Maintain records of IT assets and inventory.
• Document technical procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Prepare reports on system performance and incidents.
• Track IT service requests and resolution times.
• Liaise with external vendors for repairs and procurement.

Education/Experience

• Minimum two (2) years of university-based studies in System Engineering, technical studies or similar areas.  Degree preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail environment.
