JOB DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFICATION

Job specifications

Minimum Required Education and Experience

1. Associate Degree in Management Information Systems or higher
2. Professional Certification in Network and Hardware Administration
3. Proficiency in programming using C/C++ or Visual Basic for Application
4. Five years general working experience with at least three years in the Information Technology sector, in a similar position, and one year in the Insurance Broking Sector would be an asset.

2. Proficiency in scripting using C/C++ or Visual Basic for Application
3. Very good knowledge of Systems administration in a Microsoft environment
4. Ability to work with industry standard hardware, operating systems, applications software, and networks
5. Ability to maintain Standard Operating Procedures for an information technology environment.
6. Working knowledge of computer security threats and countermeasures
7. Compliance with organization and regulatory policies and procedures
8. Working knowledge of Insurance Broking business.
