IT Specialist (On Call)

We are seeking an experienced IT Specialists to maintain and improve the technical systems of our company to ensure all employees have the technology they need to complete their work and the organization’s important files and information remain safe and intact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

★    Installing and configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues for users (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.), providing technical support, managing user accounts and permissions, maintaining computer systems and networks, ensuring data security, and documenting solutions

★    Maintaining and troubleshooting computer networks (LANs, WANs, etc.), ensuring network security, managing network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls), implementing and enforcing IT policies, and monitoring network performance

★    Managing and maintaining computer systems (servers, operating systems, applications), ensuring system security and performance, automating tasks, implementing system updates and patches, and monitoring system health

★    Implementing and managing security measures to protect IT systems and data, conducting security audits, monitoring for security threats, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations

SKILLS

★    Strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, familiarity with various hardware and software, and ability to work independently and as part of a team

★    In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, experience with network security best practices, and ability to work with various network devices

★    Strong understanding of operating systems, server technologies, scripting languages, and system administration best practices

★    In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, experience with security tools and technologies, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to stay up-to-date on the latest security threats
