ATL Automotive is looking to hire a IT Associate to join the team in Kingston, Jamaica.

IT Associate 


Knowledge, Skills, and Aptitude required:

  • Must possess excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Installation/configuration, and maintenance of systems, hardware, and software, and related infrastructure
  • Experience with Apple IOS is an asset.
  • Project Management experience would be an asset.
  • Must be technically competent with various software programs.
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment and therefore promote harmonious relationships (inter & intra departmentally).
  • Must be professional, positive, open-minded, energetic, and consistent.
  • Be able to work on own initiative, multitask, and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Must be able to shape new ideas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Must be confidential.
  • Must be solution-oriented and have an eye for detail.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Undertakes Project implementations and provides post-implementation support.
  • Provide 1st level technical support to include server, software, and hardware maintenance
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures, and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate;
  • Sets up and configures desktop computers, peripherals, and accounts, assigning security level;
  • Installs software and installs and repairs hardware and peripherals;
  • Researches and recommends system equipment upgrades
  • May perform routine security checks on the system; Installs, repairs and removes wire and cable lines;
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Group IT Manager.


Minimum Qualification:

  • An Associate’s Degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, Network+, Security+.
  • CompTIA Certifications.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar position or in the Automotive Industry.
