INVENTORY PROTECTION AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory systems, stock audits, root cause analysis of shrinkage, and implementation of SOPs, not just physical security presence.

• Monitor warehouse and storage areas using surveillance systems and physical patrols to prevent theft, pilferage, and unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious stock movements, inventory discrepancies, and possible internal or external theft incidents.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, and auditors during cycle counts and stock audits.
• Conduct random checks on inbound and outbound shipments, employee belongings, and vehicle loads.
• Analyze reports from CCTV, access logs, and inventory management systems to detect irregularities.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning for shrinkage, stock damage, and loss events.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of inventory handling and security standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, investigations, and loss control measures.
  Verify proper staging, labeling, and sealing of goods before dispatch.
  Monitor reverse logistics and return processes to prevent fraudulent activity.
• Conduct daily spot checks on high-value or fast-moving inventory items.
• Review and validate stock adjustment logs for unusual or unauthorized transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory control policies during all warehouse operations.
• Train warehouse and logistics staff on loss prevention policies, handling procedures, and escalation channels.
