Mario’s is recruiting for a dynamic enthusiastic individual with a great personality to join our Inventory Team.

Job Summary

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for inventory data entry (processing all invoices, transfers and stock counts) for Mario’s Pizzeria Limited and its associated company the Rib Shack Limited. Analyzes data to ensure consistency with stock, product information and price. Performs all administrative duties that support the operations of the Inventory Department. All activities must conform to organizational guidelines and standards and to all legal requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Data Entry for reciProfity and Cost Guard: -

  • Enter into the system accurate information to create & modify Ingredients and recipes for new products/menu offering relating to pizzas, fry chicken, seasonal items. Specify accurate weight, metric unit, cost, packaging, and size.
  • Review weight and yield of all raw materials and ingredient items to ensure information is entered accurately in the system.
  • Responsible for recording accurately information relating to all stock items as it relates to number of items per pack or case.
  • Enter Prep Build and Waste data for products manufactured e.g. Pizza Shells, Garlic Sauce, BBQ Sauce etc.
  • Enter Waste Data for damaged and spoiled products relating to meats and vegetables, that cannot be reused for shrinkage data analysis and calculation.  
  • Enter Invoices: Purchases, Petty Cash, Transfers. Ensure all purchases are stamped with received stamp, signed and printed.
  • Enter Closing Stock Count: Ensure all values are correct with original stock count sheet, spot check any stock count error and address it accordingly. Print blank stock count form for stores.
  • Enter Sales Mix:
    • Prepare source data from the register system provided by the Sales Analyst. Review name of restaurant, menu item, quantity and amount sold and any other relevant data.
    • Ensures total sales match the unit sales source data. Check for any errors and makes the necessary changes in the Unit Sales Excel Sheet.
    • Assigns PLUs to new products when necessary in line with the established number sequence.
    • Creates CVS File to upload in system.
  • Review and analyze variance reports for the Rib Shack Limited for discrepancies and escalate to Inventory Analyst.
  • Ensure all data is entered accurately and that it corresponds to the source data.
  • Demonstrates familiarity with all menu items to easily detect any issues relating to total sales.
  • Review all transfer sheets while completing data entry for any inconsistencies relating to product size and quantity.
  • Assist with monthly stock count of the Central Warehouse.
  • Performs all administrative tasks associated with the job function.
  • Performs any other related duties.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role in an Inventory or Accounting environment.
  • Certificate in Business or Inventory Management.
  • Five (5) CXC passes or equivalent qualification including Mathematics, English & or Principles of Accounts.
  • Microsoft Office Certificate in Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of inventory systems e.g reciProfity or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Very good organizational skills.
  • Attention to Detail.    
  • Can work with minimal supervision.
  • Moderate knowledge of excel, basic formulas, pivot table.
  • Ability to detect and resolve minor system user issues.
