INTERNAL AUDIT CLERK

Ensure full compliance with the Company’s policies, standards and procedures, report on weakness, noncompliance of policies/standards etc., make recommendations in consultation with Supervisor.

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Internal Audit Clerk  in Montego Bay  and Westmoreland.

 Key Responsibilities

•  Ensure full compliance with the Company’s policies, standards and procedures, report on weakness, noncompliance of policies/standards etc., make recommendations in consultation with Supervisor.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Investigate discrepancies and report on findings.
• Ensure that where breaches are observed these are immediately highlighted to the Audit Manager

 Profile

• ACCA Level 1 or an Associate Degree (Accounting major) from a recognized tertiary institution with at least 2 years experience in auditing, preferably in the retail industry.Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.
• Effective planning, time management and decision making skills.
• Highly confidential, organized, honest, ethical and career-oriented.
• The ability to identify issues and problems and make recommendation to minimize losses to the Organization.
• The ability to prepare reports.
• Meticulous and proficient with numbers
• Experience in Audit and or Inventory Management would be an asset
