Position Summary: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the HR function for our Jamaica operations. This includes talent management, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and end-to-end payroll administration. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to site leadership, driving employee engagement, operational excellence, and workforce development in alignment with our organizational goals.  

Key Responsibilities: 

    • Manage and oversee all day-to-day HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and employee record keeping 
    • Ensure compliance with Jamaican labor laws, workplace regulations, and company policies 
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal audits and regulatory inspections 
    • Oversee the complete payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality 
    • Collaborate with finance and external payroll providers to manage statutory deductions, tax submissions, NIS, PAYE, and other local contributions 
    • Resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies promptly 
    • Partner with recruitment teams to support high-volume hiring and talent pipeline planning 
    • Manage and enhance onboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience 
    • Act as a trusted advisor on employee concerns, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions 
    • Drive engagement initiatives and culture-building activities to strengthen retention 
    • Conduct periodic employee surveys and feedback sessions to improve workplace satisfaction 
    • Lead performance appraisal processes and ensure timely reviews 
    • Support training and development plans, coaching programs, and career progression initiatives 
    • Provide insights and data-driven reporting on headcount, attrition, absenteeism, payroll, and other key HR metrics 
    • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design initiatives 

Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field 
    • Minimum 5+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years managing payroll and compliance in Jamaica 
    • Strong understanding of Jamaican labor laws, tax regulations, and HR best practices 
    • Experience in BPO, call center, or high-volume service industries preferred 
    • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS/payroll systems  
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
    • Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential information
