Reporting to the Managing Director, the Human Resource Manager will manage activities such as recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary hearings and promote corporate values to enhance a positive work culture.

 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices

  • Manage the talent acquisition process, to include shortlisting, interviewing, and hiring of qualified applicants

  • Update job requirements and job descriptions for all positions

  • Conduct exit interviews and recommend changes

  • Investigate and conduct disciplinary hearings

  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource practices consistent with labour laws

  • Conduct mediation and take remedial action consistent with company policies

  • Implement workplace safety procedures and execute best practices to mitigate risk

 Requirements:

  • Minimum B.Sc. Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related or related field

  • Minimum five years’ human resource management experience

  • Excellent knowledge of Employment Labour Laws

  • Knowledge of HR metrics, software and databases

  • Ability to manage and improve interpersonal relationships at all levels.
