Reporting to the Managing Director, the Human Resource Manager will manage activities such as recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary hearings and promote corporate values to enhance a positive work culture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Plan, implement, and evaluate employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
Manage the talent acquisition process, to include shortlisting, interviewing, and hiring of qualified applicants
Update job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
Conduct exit interviews and recommend changes
Investigate and conduct disciplinary hearings
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource practices consistent with labour laws
Conduct mediation and take remedial action consistent with company policies
Implement workplace safety procedures and execute best practices to mitigate risk
Requirements:
Minimum B.Sc. Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related or related field
Minimum five years’ human resource management experience
Excellent knowledge of Employment Labour Laws
Knowledge of HR metrics, software and databases
Ability to manage and improve interpersonal relationships at all levels.
