HR Associate

The Human Resource Associate, under the directives of the CEO, will manage HR functions for approximately 150 employees, including recruitment, hiring, and employee development. Responsibilities also include maintaining HR records, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and supporting other departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee recruitment and compliance, ensuring qualified hires.
  • Maintain HR communication and databases.
  • Manage HR budget, including compensation and benefits.
  • Implement HR policies and ensure adherence.
  • Collaborate on training and development programs.
  • Manage employee relations and engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain organizational structure and job descriptions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and documentation.
  • Oversee employee benefits and liaise with service providers.
  • Monitor HR deadlines and supervise staff functions.
  • Prepare HR reports for the CEO.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration.
  • Minimum three years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong multitasking ability.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Excellent Communication and Writing skills
  • Sound knowledge Jamaican Labour Laws
