Cal’s Manufacturing Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Capital Assistant to support our daily HR operations and contribute to delivering a positive employee experience across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including collecting documentation and updating employee records
• Maintain and update HR databases and employee files (digital and physical)
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, interviews, training sessions, and other HR-related activities
• Draft employment letters, rejection emails, and other HR correspondence
• Manage inventory and distribution of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Provide administrative support for employee welfare and wellness programmes
• Assist with payroll preparation and tracking attendance and leave records
• Ensure benefits records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily retrievable
• Provide guidance to managers and staff regarding available employee benefits
• Assist with organizing employee engagement initiatives, training programmes, and internal surveys
• Respond to employee HR-related queries in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with company policies and the Labour Laws of Jamaica

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Sound knowledge of the Labour Laws of Jamaica and HR best practices
• Strong multitasking ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
