Houseman

The Housekeeping Houseman supports the housekeeping team by ensuring public areas are clean, linens are delivered and stocked, trash is removed, and supplies are replenished. This position plays a key role in maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and providing a welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist room attendants with the removal of soiled linens and trash from guest rooms and floors.

• Deliver clean linens, towels, and supplies to assigned floors or storage areas.

• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces.

• Set up and break down housekeeping carts and closets daily.

• Refill housekeeping supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens.

• Respond promptly to guest and staff requests in a courteous and professional manner.

• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.

• Follow hotel procedures and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

• Good communication skills and a professional appearance
