PLAYROOM MANAGER

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ocho Rios for a Playroom Manager. The Playroom Manager will ensure the proper operation of the Playroom, prioritizing the physical safety and care of children.

 Specific Knowledge & Qualification:

  • In Pedagogy
  • Child Psychology
  • First Aid
  • Childcare, and/or Children's Entertainment
  • Certification in Early Childhood education 

Playroom Functions

  • Conduct periodic surveys and identify opportunities.
  • Achieve and maintain guest satisfaction levels.
  • Make proposals for project updates and improvements.
  • Update playroom manuals, functions, and policies.
  • Verify that the facilities are complete, in good condition, and safe for children.
  • Ensure that the playroom coordinators meet the required profile

 

ENTERTAINMENT SUPERVISOR

Role Description

This is an on-site role located in Ocho Rios for Entertainment Supervisor. The Entertainment Supervisor will oversee the proper operation of the entertainment areas to guarantee guest entertainment and satisfaction.

  • Sports
  • Activities and Entertainment
  • Microsoft Office Suites

Job Functions

  • Carry out daytime and night time entertainment activities according to the program and supervise their correct execution by the entertainers.
  • Verifies that the entertainment staff is complying with the standards of presentation, guest service and that it complies with the corresponding Safety regulations.
  • Ensures that all Entertainment areas open and close at established times.
  • Conducts tours of the areas to determine that the operating equipment is functioning properly and without technical failures, following up on pending issues in a timely manner.
  • Supports the Department Head in personnel management, requisitions of operational equipment and supplies necessary for the operation of the department.

IT SUPPORT

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ocho Rios for a Technical Support Engineer. 

  • Educational Background:
    • Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications (optional but beneficial):
    • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.
  • Experience:
    • Recommended 2 years or more in technical support
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux, IOS, Android) and common software applications.
    • Knowledge of networking concepts and tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
    • Patience and problem-solving abilities to handle customer inquiries effectively.
  • Additional Qualities:
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • A customer-focused mindset to ensure user satisfaction

FUNCTIONS

The ideal Candidate is expected to perform various tasks depending on the type of technical support being provided, but in general, you'll need to:

  • Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Provide support in a face-to-face capacity, over the phone or via remote desktop software, helping staff or clients set up systems or resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Replace parts as required
  • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
  • Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
  • Rapidly establish a good working relationship with employees and other professionals.
  • Test and evaluate new technology
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
