Health and Safety Officer

The Health and Safety Officer is responsible for conducting regular Health and Safety inspections and ensuring required corrective actions are implemented. He or she is also responsible for providing administrative support to the Health and Safety Manager.

• Assist in conducting procedural audits and inspections to ensure that all work areas are in compliance with the company’s Health and Safety Regulations.
• Reporting any risk identified to the Health and Safety Manager to ensure timely removal of any major health & safety hazards.
• Ensure all food safety-related documents and records are controlled and used correctly.
• Identify training needs of staff on all relevant Health & safety matters.
• Carry out investigations to identify the root cause of workplace incidents.
• Conduct follow-up on all Health & safety incidents and ensure appropriate documentation are gathered and submitted to Human Resources & Health and Safety Manager.
• Conduct weekly audits on sharp objects and deliver report on a monthly basis.
• Monitor Pest Control Programme, ensuring Pest Control Operators fulfil their contractual obligations and coverage, and adhere to all regulatory standards.
• Ensure all first aid kits are completely stocked.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
